2012 South Australian Jiu Jitsu State Championships

March 24th & 25th -  ETSA Park

Gi and No Gi ( see RESULTS section )

Those who attended our first 2 day event were treated with an awesome display of quality Jiu Jitsu.

We had  295 competitors from 20 clubs and 100 medal divisions.

All medal winners have qualified for the AUS Cup to be held in Brisbane this year!

Congratulations to all who attended and a Special Thank You to all the Staff and Referees.

SA Clubs represent at 2012 Abu Dhabi WPJJC Trials

The Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu Jitsu Campionship Trials were held in Sydney on February 18th.

South Australia had over 15 competitors from Arruda BJJ, ISO Health and SABJJ competing against Australia's best Jiu Jitsu practitioners. Many won multiple matches to get into the later rounds. Congratulations to All!

A Special Congratulations to Remo Curcio from Arruda BJJ for winning the hotly contested Purple belt under 74kg division. Remo won the right go to Abu Dhabi to respresent Australia ( South Australia ) in April at the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu Jitsu Championships where he will compete against other winners in his division from around the world. Good Luck Remo!
